So one of the many HELP group projects was called FENC. It was a tutoring place that was just starting out and we decided to go help there. You can see the growth in just a months time. This was a very neat opportunity. I got to teach kids about various school studies while they taught me more about life. They were awesome people. The program was a blessing to be a part of. Now prepare yourself for a story that just might give you chills. It gave me them when i heard it. So one of the kids that was a part of the group is a vocational student. He never talked at school and supposedly tried comiting suicide recently before we came to Fiji. Long story short, he started coming to tutoring at FENC and started making friends. Now he comes and he is happy, jokes with the group, and learns much easier. Im not sure what did it, but i know we made a powerful good influence and i am glad we were able to be a part of it. Taylor tutored him the first day and we had no idea about his past. It just shows how every little interaction you have with people can be an influence for good. I know that Taylor helped. He has a special way of encouraging people and making them feel loved and motivated.
